Hi, my name is Alan, I major in economics and I am a very open minded and easy going person. I have great enthusiasm for traveling, reading and sampling the world's delicious cuisines and delicacy. I am also very fond of learning languages almost to the extent of fanaticism I can speak Chinese,which is my native language and English quite fluently andI can speak some basic French as well.I love to meet people from different countries and cultures which I believe will open my horizon and give me the ability to think out of the box,emancipating me from the entrenched stereotype.As for me travel is not just going around the world or crossing the borders it is about an opportunity to embrace the wonderful world,to witness the tragedy and sorrow of the poor etching this in mind hoping one day I can do something to make them have a better life when I climb through the social ladders.Traveling is not just for fun but also a journey to help to introspect and to have a deep conversation with myself.

I love to read,travel and sample great foods. I have a dream to travel around the world to sample the great dlicacies in every corner of the world and meet different people from differnt cultures simultaneously which I believe will not only give me the joy of relishing fantastic foods that is just like some great arts but also give me the chance to broaden my horizon to break down the wall of stereotypes,giving me the chance to think out of the box and more empathy with the ideas and people whose origin and culture are different with me.I love to have afternoon tea and coffee so I really want to travel arund the world to have different type of refreshments,desserts,teas and coffees which I know can vary dramatically from country to country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Few years ago when I traveled to Combodia climbing through the steep ladders of an ancient temple to see the famous sun set.Initially,because the ladders were so steep so I was very exhausted and we arrived the peak a little bit early so the sun hadn't started setting, therefore I got in a fret not feeling happy thinking that it may not be worth seeing but suddenly the sun started setting and from the temple I stood which is at the peak of a hill,the scene is so imposing that it deeply etched into my mind. From the top of the hill,I saw the villages, the land and those marvelous ancient arichtectures beneath us were all dyed gold by the sun as if they were wearing some soft brocades gently weaved with gold thread.
