我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To meet new people and to find a place to stay when I'm abroad. From march 2nd - june 2nd I will be travelling through Asia. Who wants to meet up? :-)

ON HOSTING AND MEETING UP:
I'm not able to host people right now, but will be glad guiding you around in my homecountry :-) I could show you my hometown Hoorn, which has a beautiful little harbor, plenty of nice old houses and other historical artifacts. It´s only a 30 minute trainride from Amsterdam and I promise that you will love it! We could also hangout in Amsterdam or I could take you on a bike trip to see the Dutch windmills, cows or the dikes. As you can see in my pictures I´m a bicycle racer, but I promise to keep my speed down for you ;-)

Netflix addict over here! I´m not much of a movie watcher, but prefer watching series like Breaking Bad, Reign, Orange is the new black and Orphan Black.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In april 2016, I've been cycling 400 km through the mountains of Northern Vietnam to raise money for a Dutch charity called Plan Nederland. They promote girls' education in remote areas of the world. It has been the most challenging trip I've ever experienced, but also the most memorable and amazing one. I truly enjoyed discovering the remote areas of Vietnam and meeting its amazing people.

I can teach you Dutch, English or French. Other than that, I really enjoy cooking, so I could make you a nice meal or learn you how to bake you own bread.

When it comes to learning, I love to learn more about your country, its history, the way you live, et cetra. Learning some useful words in your language might also come handy!
