ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty independent person who loves all things whimsical and wacky. I just spent the last six months living in the Netherlands doing an exchange. Now I am just jumping from place to place for as long as possible and hoping to meet some cool people along the way. I study Archaeology, so I have a passion for history and learning and hope to make it to some archaeological sites during my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No couchsurfing experience of my own yet, but many of my friends have been travelling this way and have been having loads of fun. Looking forward to experiencing it for myself!

Interests

Interests include; history, music, cooking with friends, Art (Modern, Impressionist, Art-Nouveau, Renaissance, among others), hiking, brunch, swimming, learning, drawing and painting, volunteering and exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a pretty eclectic music taste. Indie rock, 90's hip hop, Australian music, classical, rap, house, classic rock and pop, as well as a shameless love for 80's music. As for movies, again it's a broad range, just about anything. I am an avid book lover, as previously stated. I enjoy classics, science fiction, fantasy, historical and archaeological writing, philosophy, poetry, magic realism, Russian writers and feminist literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm currently in the last few months of my travel and avoiding a myriad of life-decisions, reports and general feelings of 'the end is nigh' that is my final semester of study. Amazing things done is pretty much any chance I've had to travel, every new place offers something.
