My name is Emilie, I am a calm and respectful person, curious about others. I feel much more confortable in small groups than in big ones, probably because of my low voice and because i love having deep conversations : ) A few years ago i met Confucius saying " "We have two lives, and the second one begins when we realize we have only one". I chose to change my life and on January 1, 2015 I flew alone to Asia for 14 months. I fell in love with Sri Lanka and Asian peaceful way of life. Difficult to bring it back in France so i learn Chinese medicine, slowly slowly as it takes a life ! Travels and people i chose to meet bring me joy, today i try to find and cultivate the same magic in the lands surrounding me.

Because it is a generous melting-pot ! A way to get connected to different people, cultures, way of life, opinion, passion, personalities, humour, food... and so much more.
I enjoy carpooling, now i am ready to start couchsurfing !

兴趣

People, cultures, traditions, spirituality, differences... traveling alone is great for that. I am curious about quite everything... new or old. I am definitly a nature lover, I enjoy outdoor activities, but not extreme ones.
Sustainable development is important to me, thus I am really curious about worldwide initiatives, especially local ones. Natural medicine and healthy food could be one of my favorite subjects... even if not so easy to apply... i am so greedy ! Otherwise music has a real place in my life and ears.

I listen to music every day, different kinds and origins, and I like to share discoveries. I am not a fanatic person, the music i listen to follows my moods and emotions. I am quite faithful to Nina Simon, Aretha Franklin, Ben Harper, Agnès Obel, Sting, Pauline Croze... and many others.
I am able to forget a film I've seen, or a book I've read... I believe I have a musical memory ! I read a lot about "personal development", sociology, Chinese medecine... sometimes novels.
I have some favorite films : La crise, La belle verte, The salt of earth. I get more and more interested in documentaries, and enjoy an international festival organized each summer close to my place.
