I am Leanne, 23 years old fench canadian girl from quebec city. I left home last february to travel around australia and new zealand and I do not regret at all. I love nature, mountains, camping and walking. I studied in biology. I worked in a national wildlife area, an aquarium and a salt marsh back home before starting my travels. I love being around people who love the outdoors. I am not a city girl at all but sometimes I do enjoy a town every 4 or 5 weeks. I love scuba diving and wish I could aford it more often. I never plan my travels so I never know where I am going and when I will be there. I do end up being homeless sometimes when theyre is no camping allowed and all accomodation is booked in advance. I think it is so amazing of people to offer a place to stay in their home to a stranger. People dont talk enough to each other and its a great way to meet people from everywhere. We all have a different story, different views and different ways of travelling. I learned so much from people I have met on the road. I use couchsurfing only when I can not camp or when I really need a shelter. I can not wait to host couchsurfers when I am back in Quebec
