ABOUT ME

I'm 38 years young and live just outside of L.A CA, in the San Fernando valley. I'm very much into all types of music and art. I love living here in California for all that it provides. City life, beaches, snow, rivers, lakes, hiking and something to do every night if you wanted all w/in an 1 hour drive. It's also a great place for my particular skills, I'm an artist and I love to build,so I work as a Prop Maker here in Hollywood, CA on movie and T.V sets. I love family and love especially meeting new people. I'm a strong believer in Karma and I hope to receive a lot from Couchsurfing after hosting travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had one Couchsurfing experience just recently by accident. I met a few people several years back that traveled here to L.A. I had given them a ride and suggested a few places to go visit while they were here. We then meet up for lunch and at the time I was able to bring them on set of CSI Miami. We kept in touch through text and Facebook over the years. I received a call recently in the early hours of the morning that one of these friends were in an unusual situation stuck in L.A and needed a place to stay. With in an hour I was there and hosted her for 3 days. Turned into a nice lil vacation. We chatted and I explained places I would love to visit and she told me about this amazing site Couchsurfing and how it would be perfect to try.

I enjoy all types of music and attends many shows and festivals here in and outside L.A
I work in the Movie Industry as a Propmaker and tend to big a stickler w films. But I enjoy all types of movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some of the amazing things I have done is my art and my work on the big screen. My proudest thing I've done is have 2 wonderful beautiful children. I have yet been able to travel or see much outside of U.S, but I hope by hosting and taking good care of travelers that I can one day pack up and let karma pay me back w some amazing hosts. (:

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very artistic and very crafty. Not sure what from that can be learned but definitely cool stuff to see and depending on timing, getting to visit movie/t.v sets as well.
