I am a newbie on couchsurfing, but hoping to meet some great people both hosting and surfing.

Myself and my husband are beginning our first big overseas adventure together June 2018, and are hoping to continue travelling for 12 months before returning home.

I hope to meet new people, experience different cultures, eat lots of food and step out of my comfort zone to really enhance my overall travel experience.

I enjoy the outdoors and like spending time hiking, camping and exploring new places. I also enjoy time just relaxing and spending time with family and friends.

I think traveling is enhanced 100% by the people you meet and the experiences you share together. I think couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet people from all around the world and experience a culture in it's true sense rather then the idealized tourist view.

Interessen

I find pleasure in the outdoors whether that be hiking, camping, traveling, gardening, etc.

I enjoy food, however I think my current food experience has been very sheltered, so I am hoping to expand my taste buds to new food and flavours while I am travelling.

I also enjoy volunteering and hope to try some WWOOFing on my travels.

I am also interested in learning new things, and am very open to people sharing their own interests with me.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am not a huge reader but when I find a good book I can't put it down. My favourite book is A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.

I enjoy watching movies and TV series, I will watch just about anything, My favourite movie at the moment is 'About Time'. I have recently been enjoying watching 'Friends'

I love listening to music, and will listen to just about anything except heavy metal. I am currently enjoying Tall Heights and Jeremy Loops.

I studied nursing in the USA for 6 months, it was my first big trip overseas and ever since all I have wanted to do is travel more.
