ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Sweden, my first time living in a foreign country started in September 2013 when I moved to Beijing. Since then I've had some opportunities to travel within China, and it has made me realise how small my world picture used to be.

I have a big interest in language, and I do what I can to improve my Chinese on a daily basis.

I'd really like to travel around the world and meet people from all different cultures and walks of life. One day, not too far away, I hope I can go on such a quest. Seeing what other people have accomplished here is truly inspiring!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen a lot to trance (Armin Van Buuren), very relaxing while working, and sometimes I'll add a little bit of Chinese music to the mix (heard of 凤凰传奇? 😄).

Books: Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, The monk who sold his Ferrari, The flinch

Movies: I don't really have a favourite movie, but I prefer watching action and comedy genres (not romantic comedy).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Except for moving to Beijing, I spent the whole January this year alone in the Guangdong province of China. Going alone gave me a great opportunity to practice my Chinese, and also forced me to be more outgoing (I can be very shy sometimes).

I had a great time and made a lot of new friends. I hope I'll have such opportunity soon again.
