I'd describe myself as someone who sees the importance of seizing the day or die regretting all the time I've lost. I find comfort in trying new things and being around new people. Humour and spontaneity are the two most important things to have besides money and honesty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a strong believer in karma it's almost my religion now, haha. My thirst for wanderlust is immeasurable and I'd like to start feeding it by trying . Most of the time I'll be travelling on my own.

Sure, I face no financial complications in renting out hotel or motel rooms while I'm in your country but I yearn for firsthand culture experiences and exchanges and that could only be obtained by being hosted itself. I'm also big on forging new friendships wherever I go, hence I conclude that this will be a very good experience for both of us.

Unfortunately, I may or may not be able to host you when you come to Singapore. However in reference to what I said earlier, I believe in karma. So what the heck, I'll never be too busy to hang out and bring you around and show you what we Singaporeans do best! I may not be able to be a good couch host but I sure am a good tour guide (free one at that) and a friend!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I'm pretty universal when it comes to music a.k.a I love any kind of music or song as long as it's good to me; I love music THAT much. On normal days though you'd find me listening to mainstream pop and EDM. Other days I might listen to evergreen hits or something in Korean or Hindi or whatever, really.

Movies:
This, I'm particular about. My favourites include Grease, Breakfast at Tiffany's, (500) Days of Summer, Inception and the Twilight series (yes, laugh if you please.) But hey, I appreciate movies just as much as I appreciate music so yeah, on other days anything goes.

Books:
Contemporary poetry from R.M. Drake, Sarah Kay etc.
Autobiographies by Jean Sasson
Mainstream fiction by John Green, Haruki Murakami.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Smiles, hugs and endless laughter accompanied by deep conversations where applicable. Heck, I might even share my cigarettes or wine or food to repay your generosity in helping this young lone wanderer in her soul-searching journey!

On a serious note, I will also share with you the history of my country, information about it eg. where to go when you're in Singapore, what food to have, what the locals are like, education system here. Anything. Anything you'd like to know at all. Even personal or controversial topics. So there's really nothing to lose for the both of us, right?
