Travelling isn't only about arriving to me, rather about travelling itself, since I love most types of transportation: sailing- and motorboating, paddling, gliding and powered flying, motorbiking are my hobbies, while bus, train or car rides simply entertain and relax me. I'm always happy to meet likeminded people. I also have a tourist guide alter ego, that sometimes comes out when walking in Vienna...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rented a boat for half a day in Croatia with 5 friends, and headed out for a trip across the islands. After swimming in water 70 meters deep, found a message-in-a-bottle sent some weeks earlier by Czech sailors, who were navigating the same waters. According to the instructions, we wrote down our own thoughts, and sent the message on. On the way home, ran out of fuel just 200 meters off the shore, lucky enough to have some reserve fuel in a can, so that we didn't end up paddling.. :)
