ABOUT ME

We are two ordinary history teachers from Singapore who have an extraordinary appetite for adventure, travel, and delicious food.

ET (aka engtat/tat/ted) is a self professed city rat, who somehow finds himself being dragged reluctantly to explore swamps, mountains and longhouses by the love of his life.

SY (aka sheena) is proud to be called a jiamkachng (Hokkien for buttocks that cannot sit still). She’s constantly driven by wanderlust, and has an insatiable thirst for adrenaline-filled adventures, often at the expense of her long-suffering husband.

We love meeting new people and would love to host visitors to Singapore and bring them to our favourite food haunts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ted is new to Couchsurfing but Sheena has met some wonderful people through Couchsurfing in Vienna, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. As we start our lives together as a married couple, we look forward to many more meaningful experiences through Couchsurfing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We think the aim is not to just have ONE amazing thing that we've done... but here are some pretty incredible experiences we've shared together:
- Skydiving in Swakopmund, Namibia
- Shark Cage Diving at Gaansbaai, Cape Town
- Watching the sunrise on the Svinafellsjokull Glacier in Iceland
- Getting a photography lesson on the Milky Way & Northern Lights at Hof, Iceland
