ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back lad from London who is currently living in the north of Spain. It's a beautiful area, and not what you think of when you think of Spain. I'm and English and Media Studies teacher and love learning about different cultures, especially their pop culture! I am a bit of a movie geek, and love getting creative any way I can. I love to get involved in new things and help out where I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done a bit of couchsurfing and hosting while living in East Asia, and met some fantastic people. Sharing a one room apartment with two other people in Kyoto on the tatami mats and using the local bath house was a highlight!

I've taken a break for the last couple of years but really miss the personal connections you get from the couch surfing experience.

I'm a big media geek, love all sorts of movies with a special penchant for coming-of-age dramas and near-future science fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around the world as a volunteer English teacher on a Japanese cruise ship called Peace Boat. As mad as it sounds.

I've been an English language teacher for about 5 years so if you'd like to practice I can help you out.

I'm also a Media Studies teacher and so am a bit obsessed with mass media and pop culture, so if you have some strong opinions on some TV series I want to hear them.

I can help anyone wanting to practice their English, and would love to cook for whoever I have the pleasure of staying with!
