Hi everyone!

My name is Berta I have studied Social Work and Social Education in the University and I currently work as a social worker in Barcelona.

I have always been interested on people and on their different way to see the world. My passion is travelling around and I love to find out new cultures and to learn a bit from each one. Wherever I go, I try to do some sport, which can be hiking, climbing or yoga. I am open-minded, empathic and active. I really love to socialize with all kind of people but, at the same time, I attach a lot of importance to my space. I love to spend time for myself, reading, watching a movie, writing or just laying.

I'm not vegeterian, however I try to eat as less meat as possible. Anyway, If I go to someone's place I try to adapt to the other's person life.

I don't have many couchsurfing experiences yet but I have been a guest in many different countries and I have some basic guidelines that I try to share:

- Difference enriches me, so I always respect it.
- I'm very clean.
- I try to pay not with money, but with kindness, help, cook, or whatever I can contribute in.
- I don't feel couchsurfing only as a free sleeping opportunity at all.

In my profile, you'll see some photos of my boyfriend, Víctor. That's because he usually travels with me. He's 25 years old, and he's from Mallorca. He's a civil engineer and he's such a good rock climber, a nature lover and a very sociable and wonderful person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never wanted to travel as a tourist and for that reason I am on couchsurfing.
