Well. That's tough...

I see myself as an open-minded person. Eternal student. Amateur philosopher. Thwarted loner. Reasonably sociable but not scared of silence. Definitely willing to let my views on the world be changed.

As far as work goes, my experiences revoIve around children and youth, education and social integration. I'm a trained sociologist, but times are tough for human sciences...

Born and raised in Rouen, I'd be gIad to host those of you who are off to see the little part of the world I live in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like everyone else on this network : to meet new and fine people, to widen my horizon, my knowledge, my perception on our vast world.

I'd love to travel as often as possible but for now, I can't really see as much of the world as I'd like to.
So I figured, why not invite the world to come and see me ?

Doing things I love with people I love, I guess...

I generally like crafting things with my little hands. Drawing, sewing , DIY... Not very talented ! But I like the state of mind it puts me into.
I also like cinema, theater, art exhibits, reading, walking, singing, learning, discussing...

I try to maintain a clever balance between being politically and socially involved without letting my life beeing eaten whole. I try to do what I can at my own scale.
Human sciences, free education and human ecology are important matters to me. I'm always ready to discuss those and put the world to rights over a couple of drinks.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Rouen is my hometown. I don't know everything about it - fortunately ! - but I know the place pretty well and I would be happy to help you get the best of it.

The city is ideally situated to go spend a day in Normandy's green country, on the seaside or in Paris. You can travel by bus, train and car-sharing works well too.
