About Me
Hello! My name is Grace. I am such an adventurer who loves to learn something new and exciting. One thing that I challenged myself recently was to change my major from Educational policies to Computer Science B.S. Jiss.... I know it sounds tough, but I just couldn't stand up with my curiosity for other things that I will never learned outside the college. (That doesn't mean that I am nerdy). I enjoy partying and hanging out with my friends. I am a people person too. I love to talk to people and listen to their stories. I also love to play squash and play piano.
Now I am at Trinity College in Connecticut, USA. Currently, I am a Teaching Assistant(TA) for Computer Science Intro course, and doing an internship for NSF-funded research project about Mobile Apps and teaching computer science.
It has been very nice with all the things I do and all the people I have met.
I am getting such a precious and unforgettable experiences here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't know why, but I from time to time search flight tickets online, hoping to flight out somewhere because I love traveling. So much. Few weeks ago, I found a awesome ticket going to Paris and it took less than a day to make my mind. I still can't believe that I am going to Europe for my winter vacation and I am super excited because I have never been to Europe yet! While planning out my trip, I got to find that there is a such thing called Couchsurfing. I love PEOPLE, and my travel philosophy is to be localized as much as possible so that I can truly understand cities and people wherever I go. In that sense, Couchsurfing is perfectly what I was looking for. I am excited to meet new people and have a great time. Don't hesitate to host me. You wouldn't regret!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is Falling Slowly, the OST in the movie Once. I used to sing this all the time, and it just got stuck in my ears. I love the lyrics and the voice of Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova. Obviously, I loved the movie itself as well. My favorite genre changes frequently, but I enjoy listening to Jazz and Acoustic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
bought the ticket to go to Europe this winter!
Teach, Learn, Share
As I mentioned briefly, I am studying Computer Science right now. I love to teach and learn about coding. As coding is rising up with great demand in our generation, I would love to share about what I have learned with people. Also, I have been exposed to Korean and American cultures, so I would love to share this too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Since I am living on campus now, I cannot host back people here, but I would love to meet up with people if they are traveling here ( Good tip: Connecticut is close to both Boston and New York!) Also, I am pretty good at cooking, which I did not realize until last Summer. I found it while staying in Boston and cooking for myself.
