I'm a third year university student in Singapore and I'm currently on a student exchange around Europe, meeting new people, getting to know new cultures and enjoying all the amazing food and wine this continent has to offer. I was in Madrid for a trimester and am now roaming Europe.

I'm easy going, fun and funny (that's what I like to believe). At the very least, you can count on me to laugh at your jokes. Promise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A country is not her tourist attractions- i hope to be able to truly understand a country by knowing her people and there seems to be no better way than couch surfing! I'm inherently curious about the way others live and I'd love to connect with like minded travelers and get to know them and their cultures better.

wow where does one start with this?

My favourite fiction authors are Neil Gaiman, Jonathan Franzen, Jonathan Safran Foer, Zadie Smith, Haruki Murakami, Ali Smith and David Mitchell. I adore food memoirs and food writing. I have a reverence for memoirs written by strong women. I take my classics the way I take my vegetables- I should have more of it and I try but sometimes it doesn't get very far.

Music: punk rock, alternative rock, rock, but am very unabashedly into the 2000s, pop as well and mandpop.

Movies: a sucker for romance and romantic comedies, a soft spot for your typical vanilla action hero movie, blood gore and guts from Tarentino, also Wes Anderson brand of whimsy --> i.e. there are few movies i do not enjoy (well, except horror)
