Overview
About Me
I'm an 18 year old student currently in my last year of school. Next year I plan to move to the Netherlands to study Kunst, Kultur een Medien at the University of Groningen.
This summer a group of friends and I are buying an interrail ticket and going on the road.
I love seeing, experiencing, doing, living, meeting and enjoying.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I do not have a bed that I can currently host anyone with, as soon as I am a student and I have my own place I will be more than happy to host anyone with a mindset similar to my own.
I am so admirative of the whole couchsurfing movement, it is such a honourable, social and human thing to get in touch with and share what you have with people from all corners of the globe and I am honoured to be a part of it.
Interests
I love film, music and literature. I play whatever instruments I can get my hands on, but the guitar is my base. I write music reviews, short stories and films in my leisure time.
My other great love is travel. I know I am young yet, but I have caught the bug. I have seen all corners of Germany as well as a little France, Switzerland and Austria and I hope to build on this in the years to come.

Music, Movies, and Books
It is impossible to have one favourite...So I will name a few.
Music: I love The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Lou Reed as well as everything else that makes me smile or dance.
Films: I love everything The Coen Brothers, Kubrick, Scorsese and Tarantino have done as well as the old masters; Hitchcock and as far back as Robert Wiene and Fritz Lang. I also love a great indy and a good horror...Favourite actors probably DeNiro (before he sold his soul) and Jack Nicholson. I also love the work of Monty Python.
I love Irish literature, and comedy; especially Flann O'Brien and Spike Milligan. Pat McCabe, Jack Kerouac, Hunter S Thompson...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a while thinking about this, but probably my most memorable experience was spending 4 weeks travelling Germany with a group of students from all around the world I had never previously met before. Made some great friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to discuss, debate and have intelligent and meaningful conversation. Learning is a mutual experience, I believe.
