I am Aaron, 26 years old, and from Hamburg, Germany.
I would consider myself an easygoing, funny and active person. So in my free time I am often at the gym, cooking, watching anime, playing chess or reading. Also I'd say that I have travelled quite a bit and like being outdoors, going on hikes and exploring nature.

Currently, I am doing a 6 month internship in Basel, but would love to travel Switzerland as much as possible during the weekends.

Couchsurfing is a great way, if not the best way, to get in touch with locals and explore the place you are currently traveling, while making friends and also helping your travel budget.

As I mentioned I go to the gym for mainly powerlifting training (a type of weightlifting) and generally find being active important.
During my travels this often happens in the form of hiking and exploring nature. 🏞️😁
Also, I am a real foodie! I think that food is a great way to experience another culture.
Languages are also a big part of my travels, that's why I have mostly travelled through Spanish speaking countries in the last years.
Other than that I watch some anime and read every now and then :)

My music is all over the place ranging from modern reggeaton to 80s japanese city pop and classic music. But mainly I listen to rap, reggeaton and stuff that gets me going in the gym.
Nevertheless, l like me some chill lofi, EDM or indie music from time to time.

A few good movies that come to mind are James Bond: Casino Royale and Quantum Solace, Inception, The Wolf of Wall Street, Death on the Nile, Iron Man, Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, some Studio Ghibli classics like Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away, other anime movies like Demon Slayer, Your name, 5 cm per second or Garden of Words.

Some of my reads include Atomic Habits, Discrimination and Disparities, Wohlstand für Alle, The Wealth of Nations, The Perfume, Basic Economics, Der Kontrabass, The Gene, Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm... So usually some dense stuff, but every now and then something lighter.

I can teach some language skills, german culture, training and nutrition, maybe one or two things concerning biomedical sciences and a few travel tips.

Everyone has got something to teach and a lot learn!

I can share the experiences I have made so far, obviously 😅 Some funny travel stories etc.
