ABOUT ME

I graduated from uni in 2008, had an amazing 6-month trip to South America, and have now been living in London for 6 months, which I love.

I work for a small not-for-profit in Whitechapel, East London, working with schools to look at emotional wellbeing, relationships and communication, and move towards improving teaching and learning.

London is a great city with so much to offer, but I can find myself getting a bit lazy and falling into a routine. I'm hoping CS can motivate me to explore and make the most of London.

PHILOSOPHY

Not sure I've really decided... I'm pretty laid back and just take life as it comes.

Interests

I love travelling, meeting people, learning about other cultures etc - hence here I am on CS!

At the moment I'm relatively settled in London, and my interets include... spending time with friends, at home or out and about. Food - going out to eat it, staying in to eat it, watching TV programmes about it, cooking it (though usually never as adventurously as I intend!), salsa dancing, which I do at least once a week, music, going to the cinema and theatre, going clubbing occasionally, drinking tea, coffee, and wine, playing guitar (a little bit), people-watching.

Books: anything by Isabel Allende, A Fine Balance, In Cold Blood, The Poisonwood Bible

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Tanzania on a school exchange when I was 15. A relative of the girl I was staying with owned a dairy farm, which I was taken to visit. I watched a field of maybe 60 cows as one by one, they walked forward to be milked as their names were called out. Incredible!
