About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make the most of Melbourne.

ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Sean.

I'm 24, from Liverpool, UK, and I recently quit my job to live in Australia for a year (maybe two).

I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I'll be living and working here for about six months.

I'm not sure how to describe myself because I'm quite modest and hate describing any positive attributes or qualities I may have. I'm dreadful at writing CVs and covering letters for exactly this reason. I'll often write things like, "I feel I am creative, hard working and excited about working for your company... but to be honest, you might be able to find someone more experienced than I am."

I'm invariably unemployed.

I generally use self-deprecation to lower people's expectations of me. I tend to get on with most people though and when I'm leaving for Oz, I'm going to measure my popularity by seeing how many friends and relatives cry as I walk through the departures gate at the airport.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any actual experience of CouchSurfing on other people's couches, but my brother spent last summer CouchSurfing around Europe and he hasn't shut up about it since.

We've since had a few CouchSurfers staying in our house and they've all been wonderful.
