About Me

All??? It's gonna bit a bit hard... Let's just say open-minded and willing to discover and learn something every day.

Try to always find the good things about what happens to you. And try reallly hard not to be "alienated" (all of a concept...)

Intentar siempre ver el lado positivo de lo que te está ocurriendo. E intentar fuertemente no volverte "alienado" (todo un concepto...)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Trying to make the visitors' stay as good as possible! So they could have an excellent trip in the "ardent city" and tell other people that Liège is worth being visited, even if it's not in the top 5 of belgian destinations in the tourist guides!!! For those who are interested as well in the human discovery than in the historical discoveries (which we have as well, of course, have you ever wondered what was the Principauté de Liège? ;-) ).

All of the experiences were very nice

tango, languages, people, cinema, music, having a walk in nature, good drink with good people, partying, having a nap in my hamaca in the sun,...

Music, Movies & Books

Ouf... So many things!!!!

Movies : parodies (Black dynamite, The Rocky horror picture show, La cité de la peur,...), Night of the living dead, L'âge d'or de Buñuel et Dali, Bernie, Requiem for a dream, Delicatessen, David Bowie's Labyrinth, Almodóvar, Kusturica, Vertov's The man with the camera (with the music of the Cinematic orquestra), Twin Peaks, Patricio Gúzman, Freaks, Chris Marker's "Le fond de l'air est rouge", La meglio gioventu, Oaxaca entre rebelión y utopia, La vida loca......... Too many to tell!!!

Music : tango (I dance it), bossa nova, latin music, flamenco, dub (High tone, Zenzile, etc), others that I wouldn't like to categorize (Aphex twin, Heliocentrists, Le peuple de l'herbe, Wax Tailor, Ratatat, Billy Idol, Björk,.........)

Books : Gabriel García Márquez, Les liaisons dangereuses, La casa de los espíritus (Isabel Allende), Boris Vian's "L'arrache-coeur", Maupassant (short stories, the best in French!, and "Bel ami"), Kundera, Como agua para chocolate, Nathalie Sarraute's "Planetarium", Moravia's "Him and me", Geluck's "Le chat"......

So difficult to answer this question, really! A lot of different things

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Amazing is a very relative word. Above all it's about sensations for me, witch is a very subjective matter

Teach, Learn, Share

As I dance tango, anyone who can teach me something in this area is VERY welcome!
