ABOUT ME

Hello beautiful people! My name is Megan Rogers. I have a very open mind and I like learning about different cultures and ideas. I love the aspect of traveling and exploring.
I have a strong desire and passion for the outdoors. I am currently studying environmental sciences and am passionate about conservation, preserving, restoration, and sustainability. I've grown up being active and outdoorsy. I enjoy many sports and activities as well as living a healthy lifestyle.
Terrace is my wonderful home town and I'd be happy to show it to you :)

I was introduced to Couchsuring immediately before I left for my first backpacking trip to Australia in 2009. My parents have hosted many people and if I am home at the time I have taken quite a few out and about to check out the sites that Terrace and the surrounding areas has to offer.

Movies: Many movies! Not as much as a movie buff anymore and I thoroughly enjoy documentaries.

Music: I have a VERY varied taste though lately I primarily enjoy listening to a indie music. Please feel free to introduce me to what you enjoy!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Living life fully is an amazing feat on its own :)
However, a few things that I can think of at the top of my head include:
- Scuba diving with sea turtles bigger than myself
- Scuba diving all along the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and seeing rays, sharks, and all the other beautiful ocean life (pretty sure I was a mermaid in a previous life :))
- Sky diving from 14,000 feet over the reef
