About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi couchsurfers!
I'm Alex, currently living in Germany but after I'm ready with the University I'll definitely go abroad, travel & work and maybe stay in some country to live there. Since my childhood I traveled a lot with my family and we changed places to live almost every 3 or 7 years. So, from the place I was born- Chita, that's near Chinese border and Mongolia- my family traveled through Russia westwards... and now we're in Germany! I love Asia- Chinese and Mongolian people were so nice. Maybe that's why I started to study Japanese and Korean (Chinese is REALLY difficult, I can remember how my Dad studied this language, surrounded by huge piles of books and dictionaries). One day I'll go back to Asia =]
PHILOSOPHY
The sense in the life is what you currently do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd like to support couchsurfers by showing them cities in North Rhine-Westphalia, helping them out to find a hotel, being a translator (that's a nice practice), etc.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Currently none. Hope it'll change =]
Interests
Reading books, drawing, video games, learning new languages, trying out all kinds of food, meeting new people, of course. I'm really interested in other countries and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: most movies from Tim Burton; Korean movies are good, too bad that Korean movie industry isn't so appreciated...; Old black & white movies (ah~ top-hats =]).
Musik: Oh, almost everything, I'm not too much into Hip-Hop/Rap or headcrushing Death Metal. Favorite bands are Gorillaz, Boom Boom Satellites (Japanese), Dionysos (this one is French), Massive Attack, Crystal Method, hmh kind of 'strange' music. I also love Debussy's piano works.
Books: from Terry Pratchett, Philip K. Dick, E. A. Poe, Hideo Okuda & Boris Akunin.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What most amazes me- I learned German in 3 months.
Teach, Learn, Share
Um, I could teach you drawing with computer programs: Paint and Photoshop. One day I want to become a languages teacher in Asia, so I could test my teaching skills on you (beware, they are currently about 0! *laughs*).
