ABOUT ME

I'm a recovering sceptic and love to learn as much as I can about as many things as possible. I love languages (whether I understand them or not) and am fascinated by the simplest things. I urge people to try new things and jump at the opportunities I'm given. I'm 5' 6", with brown hair and my ancestry is as Canadian as they come. I love outdoor activities and telling stories of my life's experiences. I've only been on this planet for 23 years and hope to add to my list of adventures exponentially as I get older!

PHILOSOPHY

I firmly believe there is no such thing as an awkward silence. Only you can make something awkward for yourself. A silence can be the most comfortable thing ever!

I'm not quite as "worldly" as most people in this community but I hope to share my experiences as they come and thrive off the experiences of others.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love war movies (new and old), comedies, action, movies that make you think. All time favourite: Forrest Gump.

I'm open to all music. My iPod is full of music out of the 90s. I like Folk, Roots, Rap, Country, Pop, Classical, Instrumental, Indy but most of the time, I really like to sit back a relax to some chill tunes.

Books... well, I'll admit that I'm not much of a reader. I happen to love Shakespeare but I've only finished a few of his plays. Nothing personal.. I rarely make it through a book before life distracts me.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I've seen many amazing things. Life is amazing in the simplest ways. One of my favourite amazing simple sights was flying over the coast of Lake Superior at sunset in a little single engine plane. My prop was flickering in the sun and my canopy was reflecting onto a huge barge 2000 feet below me. I guess you'd have to be there... lol. it was just beautiful!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Don't take yourself too seriously. I mean it! I was there and lost a chunk of my life that I'll never really be happy with. Be yourself AS SOON AS YOU CAN! Any second wasted on being someone you think other people want you to be is a second you haven't really lived. (I don't mean to sound TOO deep... but its the best advice I've got!)
