ABOUT ME

I was half way across Europe on my bike with my friend Jacqui when I decided to go to the Aerodium in Latvia. The flying was brilliant- my landing was not so good.

Now I'm back home on the farm with my leg in plaster! If you're travelling through the South East, you are more than welcome to come and stay on our farm and see the cows and kangaroos.

While travelling we met some amazing people in some incredible countries- people who have found our tent and invited us to their home for dinner, beautiful, generous people across the world :-) I'd love to pay back the karma cycle!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have CouchSurfed in Europe and I have also spent time WWOOFING in the mountains of southern France building stone walls and living in a stone hut. I am a member of Warm Showers and have been cold, tired (and slightly smelly) guest with my bike across Europe.

Interests

Teaching~ I am forever learning and thinking about how I can pass my knowledge on in interesting and exciting ways.
Music~ I play Bass Trombone and play in Brass and Concert Bands. I also teach brass instruments and conduct school bands.
The Great Outdoors~ I love hiking and getting out of the cities exploring.
Cycling Touring~I spent 5 months cycling around Europe from the Balkans to the Baltic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending 5 months cycling through Europe and looking back at our route, seeing the zig-zags we took across countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a primary school teacher. I love teaching children about the world around them and getting them excited about the little things and the big wondrous world we live in. I love learning and passing on random things! I play Bass Trombone and the other brass instruments. I'm happy to teach, or talk about teaching! I would love to meet someone who could teach me to be organised and neat!
