ABOUT ME

I'm a girl with a very "go with the flow" stream inside me. I'm passionate about the things and the people I love most, and I welcome changes in my plans and my life. Being a Psych student, I like being a person who tries not to judge based on first impresions, allow my own opinions to cloud my view of the world, or let my biases stop me from experiencing new things. I can't even begin to try and explain how much I love to learn. I just do. I read, write, watch, run, walk, listen, touch, taste, smell, feel and experience anything I can because I just want to know. I'm a spronge for knowledge. In fact, I've been told that I know so much useless and interesting information that I'd be great on Jeopardy. :3

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I live my life because I like it when my heart beats. So, why does my heart beat? Because I'm loved by important people and most of al because I want to love and do love. I have the word "Believe" tattooed on my left arm to remind me that no matter what happens in my life of the life of the people around me, I can still belive in something better. Nothing in this world can stop me from believing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm really excited at the chance to host someone, and be hosted. I really want to help people be comfortable in their travels by knowing they're safe, and give others a chance to see something different by being a host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had the chance to be part of a CouchSurfing experience before. I'm really looking forward to learning something new from the people I share this earth with. I've had friends who've done student exchanges and had a marvellous time, and I'm hoping to give someone else these times of fun memories too. ^_^

Interests

My passion is writing, my objective is to just be. I read to learn, and I watch TV to see how people are seeing the world. As a journaism student, I'm dedicated to presenting to my audience a view of their world that is different from the one of our typical news. I am excited to travel and I'm interested in seeing how other people live in this world.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Slammerkin" is my absolute favorite book of all. I've read plenty of books and have many more to read, but that book began my love for historical fiction and my interest in psychology. It changed my writing style and focus, and helped me through some more challenging periods in my life. It's kept me focused and helped me to see over and over again just how important my morals are to me and how important it is to be open to new experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't predict what it is that I could teach someone who gets to know me, but I can definitely try to be a welcoming change to anyone's life. I'm a very flexible person and I have plenty of values and morals that might be a new view to some or a welcomed contribution to a home.
