ABOUT ME

It's weird to sit here and try to describe myself but here's a brief idea of me. I just graduated college last spring and I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I love to laugh, and dancing is very important to me. I have danced tap and jazz but would love to learn how to ballroom dance, salsa, or swing. I'm shy and quiet, but can be outgoing and loud as well. Friendships are incredibly important to me. I love chocolate. I can cook a little but would rather bake. I can be stubborn but I also like to learn from others. I like warm weather but don't mind the rain. I'm so excited to travel beyond the US and experience other countries and gain new insight into life.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason. Whether it's true or not it's a pretty comforting statement, I believe. I think everything will work itself out but you also have to be willing to put effort in to keep important people in your life and accomplish goals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed couches this past March in Europe and had a great time! Met some really great people and would love to do it again next time I'm able to travel.

Interests

I love to dance. I also enjoy reading, snowboarding traveling, learning, staying active but also lounging around, being productive, baking, playing board games or card games. I'm not exactly the try everything once type girl but I try to step out of my comfort zone often to keep myself growing and learning and having fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: A Thousand Splendid Suns, Kite Runner, The Poisonwood Bible, The Nanny Diaries, and more (they aren't coming to mind).
Movies: I like chick flicks, comedies, dramas, not so big on action though but I'll watch action with you if you watch a chick flick with me
Music: I generally listen to the radio so I like pop music, light/classic rock and country. I'm open to listening to other music except heavy metal and I'm not a big reggae fan.
