ABOUT ME

I am born, bred and raised in Singapore for the past 20 years of my life. Catholic by birth, confirmation name's Joy if you'd like to know! I am currently working/studying in the Bay Area and loving every minute of it.

My life revolves around my family, Mom, Dad, 2 younger brothers and 2 Dogs whom I love very much, they are all in Singapore. When I am awake, I am thinking of how best to teach children and parents the value of money. Which is something that I am currently working on.

I love children, and some day may hope to have my own. More so, I also love to see things change for the better which so much that is happening now in the world, war, hunger, human err and what not. I believe that we can all do things in our control to change them for the betterment of others, not only ourselves.

I'd like to call myself a Geek and love to read, fiction and non fiction books the same, news and blogs. This other side of me love to meet new people and hear their tales and joys.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never attended a Thanksgiving dinner in my life, as people in Singapore don't quite celebrate this tradition. My first experience with a couch surfer was during this special occasion and everyone was warm and beaming with joy. You can feel the true joy of kindness and love by being in their company! one that I will mark this special day for me!

Financial literacy is one of the biggest biggest lessons that are not taught at home and in schools. This is a life skill that we lack, very often miss out as we grow with age!

It's important to know the value of money and the many concepts behind this important skill.
