ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded and friendly person who likes to meet new people and have a good time, share experiences..

I have made drawings and paintings all my life but have done lots of other stuff meanwhile. I am an educated designer and tailor and i also studied physiotherapy for some years, now i am doing painting full time and playing with the idea of moving part-time to some place more sunny than Denmark.

I am very affected by my surroundings and the people i am around. The long and dark winters in Scandinavia can be hard to deal with i think, i do love the changing of the seasons, but if you ask me..well i think the winters didn't have to be quite that long!!
I love the sunny summer times when you can just walk out the door in your bare feet in sandals, everything becomes so much more lighter in the sun.
During the winters though, i practice my passion for the heat at one of my many jobs, which is in a leisure place with saunas in Copenhagen.

i have just opened this account, more to come soon. Just got to know about couch surfing and i love the idea.

PHILOSOPHY

..changes as time goes by..and i realize how little i actually know. But i think it is important to be aware and to take responsibility for yourself and for the world that we live in. this doesn't mean you can't have fun, on the contrary. I would like to change the world but i start with myself, i take responsibity for the things i buy, i don't buy stuff i don't need, and i try to treat other people the way i would like to be treated. I am not perfect but i try.
I believe we have to try and be free thinkers in a society where it is easy to become a slave to consumerism, fashion, and really superficial and materialistic things.
I think we have to develop ourselves to becoming free, openminded, unpredujiced and caring, so that we can all live in this world no matter what colour we are or what religion we have.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

oh a lot.. favourites are hard work. Well the last books i read were Ken Follets' 'Pillars of the Earth' and 'Neverending World' and they are both amazing! They are historical, full of wisdom, great lovestories, and so crime-orientated you just can't put them down..although they are really, really long!
Haruki Murakami is another of my favourite authors.
And Star Wars is and has always been my Bible!

Blade Runner.

I tried to watch the latest Batman movie because i love Batman but Heath Ledger was doing too scary a character as the joker and i had to turn it off!

I love Almodovar's colourful movies, animation, anything creative that has been put some soul into it.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

well i guess walking tha Camino de Compostella was quite an achievement..amazing experience!
Meditating in the Sinai desert in Egypt was one of the best experiences ever.
Living in London for some years meeting travellers from all over the world.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I like to paint because it gives me a lot of personal space and it gives me insight to what i feel and what is beneath the surface. I would love to share this with other people. It can be frustrating when you're trying to create a certain thing. But if you let go and see what comes out it can be a real interesting journey.
