ABOUT ME

Chris and I are pretty laid-back people. We love to travel but we also love to stay at home-Austin is our dream hometown. No kids, just dogs. We think we have a funny sense of humor. (Heehee). Chris plays the guitar a lot and is writing some of his own music. I love anything outdoors-hiking, biking, running, kayaking, swimming, (except in the oceans-I'm afraid of the sharks and other things that bite and sting!) I'm a vegetarian and a pretty picky eater, but Chris will eat just about anything. Chris is a daytrader with his Master's degree in Business. I'm a social worker at a high school and have a Master's degree in Social Work. I'm allergic to cats, but love dogs! We don't smoke and only drink socially.

PHILOSOPHY

Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt and dance like no one's watching! (Cliche, I know, but hits our philosophy on the head-I'll try to get more original and change this sometime in the near future!)

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We just joined couchsurfing. We're interested in staying with people and/or meeting up with people when we travel to learn more about the are from the people who live there. We would love to meet someone for coffee if they are in Austin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived out of a bag for a year or two after college...long-term couch surfing I guess. Stayed with relatives, friends, friends of friends, etc. As far as formal couchsurfing with this on-line project, we are just getting started!

We did a 19 mile hike to Lake Solitude in the Grand Tetons with only a small bottle of water and two fig newtons. Story to follow!
