ABOUT ME

OK...I'm rather tall. 1.95 m. Married with two girls (aged 19 and 21). Who are students in Berlin and Aachen. I love music. Being a teacher (I went into teaching rather late in life since I spent most of my married life as a house husband) I have not enough time really to sing as often as I would like to. My wife and I love travelling. Most of the time we travel together but once a year we get some time off and tour the planet separately.
Our house here in the Westerwald has got a spare room and is within an hour's (depending on the traffic 2 hours') drive of Frankfurt and Cologne.
When I travel I try to see most of the good museums, go to concerts and theatre performances, enjoy good food and meet interesting people. ... And brush up my English. (French is very limited, I'm afraid)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately we lead a rather busy life and we never really know in advance when the girls will be home. So offering our couch isn't an easy job these days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We were lucky to have such great first guests in March 09. Angela and Marcus from Tyrol stayed at our place for three nights and it was the best initiation we could have hoped for.
