About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live in the flow of life, sailing downstream!
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a family business and now work part-time for the company-- Total Immersion Swimming. Although I started out teaching adults in freestyle workshops, I have also coached a few youth competitive swim teams, and have taught all levels and ages, from baby classes to adult phobics.
I spend most of my time teaching little kids to swim (and some "big kids," my adult students), so play and learning is a huge part of my life. I enjoy their curiosity and eagerness and it makes my job a joy!
Climbing is another passion of mine and it's a great pursuit to be able to indulge here, since we have world-class climbing right in our backyard. How awesome is that?
I am a huge lover of nature and outdoor recreation, enjoying hiking, mt biking, rollerblading, and of course, climbing and open-water swimming. My favorite season here is fall, during peak foliage time, when the colors are bursting, the air is crisp, and the temperature is just about perfect.
PHILOSOPHY
To live with passion and purpose... To fully realize my potential as a human and spiritual being... To contribute value to this world and serve as best I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw a gigantic sea turtle with a fish riding on its back (symbiotic relationship, apparently!) when I coached and swam at an open water swimming camp in Maho Bay in St. John.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to be able to share my swim teaching skills with fellow surfers-- I've been immersed in swimming (pun intended!) practically my whole life, so I consider myself something of an expert at this point. I hope others are interested in learning!
I am curious about learning anything new that piques my interest! If you've got a specialized skill you're passionate about and want to share, I'd love to hear about it...
