ABOUT ME

My backpack and care free travelling has come to a pause since the arrival of my beautiful children. Now, I like to take in travellers so I still feel a little connected to the travelling community. I hope to travel again but may need to wait until my little ones are a little older.

I am a vegan, although my family are all omnivores.

I am always on the search for new experiences and knowledge and am keen to try new things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had one emergency Couchsurfing experience. I was heading to do volunteer work in Honduras when the airport was closed due to the Military. So I was stranded in Miami. Luckily a nice couchsurfing couple took me in and saved me from a cold airport floor for 4 nights - Thanks Jeremy and Tohnya. I have hosted numerous folks since and had the pleasure of surfing a few more sofas too.
