CURRENT MISSION

I am travelling through Argentina as I found myself without a job in february. I wanted to have a good experience and know new places and people in the meanwhiel I have no work!

ABOUT ME

Well, I am a 28 years old guy, 1.75 m heigh , long curly hair , beard , almost always smiling and probably disturbing someone with bad jokes!

I find myself an opend minded person, always enjoying at most in new or different situations or with new people.

I like to be independent and I respect most the freedom of the people, but at the same time I enjoy a lot sharing experiences with people, meetings, travels, excursions of partys, generating all the time new stories to tell and to laugh about (or to regret)!!!, stories which can be told in a different place, in a different time.
I think life needs to be lived, And you can learn a lot and take the best during the time you are on earth

PHILOSOPHY

We are on this World as a Gift, we must be able to be happy or at least enjoy the time we have on it, trying to discover all the oportunities or the chances it has, according to what we are and what the world is.... We must also realize, the world has some limits, and right now Humanity is overexploiting them, taking everyithing to a dangerous situation in environment, economics, society, We should try to respect those natural limits and make the best for improving the actual situation, otherwise we can not know the consecuences and how the get over them... We can make the world better, having a good life and sharing it with the others

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered couch surfing spontaneously thanks to my friend Pako who showed me the way it works on real time as we were travelling together, I actually got involved in a natural way, according to my interests. I like travelling, I like meeting people at the destination points, it is the best way to get familiar with the spirit and the atmosphere of the place, not only visiting inert buildings or things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by CS members all already all around Argentina, in Buenos Aires, Calafate and Cordoba, lot of fun and good mood everywhere and with everyone I was!!

WHen going back to Spain,i am willing hosting people as well to keep having good experiences and showing people what is good in my hometown as well!

Interests

My interests are varied,
I like a lot meeting people and having fun with them in all kind of ways:

I like a lot travelling and visiting places, specially those which always attracted me from my childhood, because of their History, some specific cultural aspect, music , natural attractions or whatever.
Actually when i was a child i was always "travelling" into my books and comics, when i grew up i started to become those travels true.

As I said, i like History, from everywhere in the Earth and from all the ages, although I like specially Stoneages, Ancient and Middle ages, as it was then when it all began and when all the cultures started developing and taking the actual shape ... I believe the best way to understand the present is to know all the past!!! It is great reading something about one famous place and afterwards walk on that place as people from the past did...

I like also nature and open air life, I went on summer camps when I was a child and I always enjoyed sleeping in a tent and making walks and trekkings. When I got older I was responsible of children as well for some years, organising these camps in the Pirineos near my hometown Zaragoza. Last years I did it no longer, I had no much time and the enthusiasm for the activities with children was a little slower, but any way a still go out for a walk into the mountains, biking, canyoning or climbing with friends and old comrades.
I am worried also for Environment and Sustainable development. That was the reason I studied chem.enginerin (trying to find better technical solutions against pollution, global warming and energetical crisis), but there is also an important social factor and and .much work can be do there

I like also music, from almost every style. Rock, pop Reggae, classic, and specially folk music from different countries (it was my father who started that, he always was hearing folk music at home and bringing CDs from several countries).
I am also a part of a choir, we are around 20, we sing in 4 or 5 voices and we like Gospel, Pop versions and we even play Soundtracks from Movies with our voices.. It is really funny and you work in a team

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading a lot, specially about antropologhy and History, and novels as well. I like a lot Sicence Fiction stories (Asimov, C Clark, Dick, ...) specially about different possibilities for human future, and I enjoy much about space travel!

For music, i like all kind of styles, depending in the situation, if yo are at home alone, with friends, if you are in a local... When resting, i like much ethnical musicls from all over the world, when going out with friends i enjoy rock and singeable-danceable music!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, there are so many... something really special was enetring the Jungle in Palenque, Mexico, at 8.00 am , everything with mist, and hearing the cries of jungle monkeys, me and one friend of mine, and suddently, in the middle of the brume, finding the Maya ruins... it was impressive, i felt like one explorer from XVI century (or something like that)

Teach, Learn, Share

Ok, I am not so bad in languages, I could teach german, spanish, english and even a basic french!!

I think I also know something about History, specially spanish History

My mother also told me, according to my studies, experience in plants and some home-maintenance-works I did, that i am not a bad plumber! So I could always give a hand there

I sing in a choir, I thing i could be able to share some experience about that.. polifonical singing is something really funny and beautiful when t works!
