About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find my place in this world, while taking to time to smell the roses.

ABOUT ME

I like to consider myself to be somewhat eclectic. I play the guitar, and dabble in the piano, drums and base. I love all forms of music, theater and art. I hold my friends and family close to my heart. My favorite pastime is hiking out in the middle of nowhere. It allows my the time for deep introspection and the atmosphere I need to lift up from the daily grind. In Plato’s “Republic,” he talks about our perception of the world as shadows against the wall of a cave; I think meeting new people is a perfect way to get different perspectives of what those shadows mean. With that said, I would like to meet as many people as possible so that I can truly find the meaning of life.

PHILOSOPHY

Leave everything to divine providence and never sweat the small stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a passion for travel, and whenever I'm available to host, my doors are certainly open to a fellow traveler. I look forward to doing a lot of surfing in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met with some pretty cool people in Argentina that showed me some nice spots of Buenos Aires, but I've yet to actually surf with anyone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried to live as a Benedictine monk for a while in the hills of Norcia, Umbria (Italy).

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I still have a lot of learning to do, but I suppose I could teach a little about philosophy, science and music. I would really like to learn some wilderness survival skills. I never really got into the boy scouts as a kid unfortunately.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I try to make a point of being a good house guest. I generally travel pretty light, but I'm happy to share whatever I've got with me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Israel, Panama, Peru, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
