ABOUT ME

We are currantly driving around Africa, Europe and Asia filming a documentary on the posotive aspects of Marne Resource use. We aim to drive 42 countires in 24 months, with specific countires being targeted for fimling in a one month period. Yes it's an ambitious project, but we had managed to secure a large range of sponsors and people to support us that believe in what we are doing.
The worlds marine resources are in a deeply poor state, and we believe that by finding the people, NGO's ,organisations or anybody really that is making a posotive impact on marine conservation in thier country, we will be able to give people some viable information to work with to try and improve the situation.

PHILOSOPHY

There is no part of the ocean today that is safe from potential overexploitation of its resources. Current data suggests that approximately 100 million tons of fish are removed from the ocean annually. At this level of exploitation, sustainability of marine resources and in particular fish stocks is questionable. Although much work has been done examining the state of fisheries through various disciplines, the public perception of the state of the world’s marine resources is ignorant, and only recently starting to awake to the catastrophic nature of marine resource exploitation. It is to this extent that the Marine Resource Expedition has been launched.

Well, Mike s batty about fish. Everything to do with fish and fishing.He is also a passionate surfer (he's been living with his head underwater since he was a light weight) so the surfboards are accompanying us on our expedition.
Linda is a professional photographer, and an in the closet book nerd....
Both of us are divers, and part of our expedition is to film the underwater biodiversity of the country we are filming in, we actually have all our own diver gear ,complete with all the bells and whistles (mike is an instructor and linda a DM in training) that go along with it.

We have currantly driven up the west coast of Africa,Europe and crossed Russia , heading back home through Asia ,the Arabian peninsula and East Africa Both Mike and Linda have travelled the globe extensively, but this expedition, covering 42 countires will definitly be adding many more stamps intot he passsports.
