HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm very new to the project. I would like to host and meet people once I am settled in SF. I haven't had any sort of traffic while I was in Ithaca and look forward to meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't yet had one. The concept is just mind blowing and it opens up a world of possibilities to learn, give and experience from perspectives other than your own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago, while on vacation with a friend we saw some people kitesurfing and were so excited that we decided to learn the sport. Being in college and with little to no money we decided to teach ourselves (in hindsight, not the best decision of my life). Two years down the road I am a proficient kitesurfer and it has now become a large part of my life.

Biked 500km in India in the summer with 4 friends while I was in high school. This was something I never thought I could accomplish but I just stuck with it and planning was the key to successfully carrying this out.

I went to High School with people from over 70 different countries (hence the urge to travel and see new places).

I guess that wasn't one amazing thing but a couple of rather ordinary things.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mathematics - In my four years of studying mathematics I have learned how to learn. The Math Dept. head put it most aptly, Mathematics is Martial Arts for the mind. If I can share this experience with someone else then I will be a very happy camper.

I could teach some Indian cooking. Cooking has always been something I have enjoyed but mostly when there are others around to enjoy it with.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cayman Islands, Finland, United Arab Emirates, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
