ABOUT ME

I am starting a trip around Europe next month, going to Norway, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Bruges, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Wroclaw, Berlin, and maybe Prague - ending in May. My friend Tam will be traveling with me in Norway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I grew up traveling and hosting travelers in my home. When traveling on my own, I have mostly used hostels or stayed with friends/acquaintances, but looking to get in on the couch surfing experience too!

Interests

Outdoor activities: hiking, bicycling, botanic gardens, beautiful natural landscapes, looking at birds and animals.

Arts and culture: Local history/heritage, museums, handmade crafts and artisan work, traditional medicine (especially herbalism).

Nightlife: Discovering new (vegetarian) foods, trying everything, drinking good local beer, dancing, meeting new people, gay/gay-friendly places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent time in the Galapagos Islands, and the Ecuadorian Amazon - my favorite spot on earth might be in the middle of a jungle.
