Myself, My lovely lady Jessica and our two amazing daughters Genevieve(17) and Aurora(15).

We love the outdoors, organic farming, instruments of all kinds. Backpacking, surfing, traveling, beekeeping, sustainable living. Having a blast!! So much more...

One day We hope to have our own Homestead and be completely self reliant.

We are living close to the heart of historic downtown Charleston, SC, in a lovely home - the main portion of which was built in the 1880s.

We love Tiny Houses - check out the Tiny House blog!! Also, Permaculture, handicrafts of all kinds, healthy eating...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Aron surfed across the country when driving back to Charleston, SC, from Portland, OR. -Every bit of it was a blast. I met so many cool and interesting people.

In our current home we've hosted 4 couchsurfers/couchsurfing couples and have loved it every time.

Interests

So many great things out there! All things outdoors, esp in the water. Great food. Hands in the dirt. Campfires! Mountains! Loving and learning.

Jess - I mostly read reference books! I love true life stories as well but certainly enjoy a novel now and then. (oh, and I am the one who introduced Aron to the satiric genius of Vonnegut!)

Music? So many to list. Ranges from the Distillers to Beirut,Band of Horses-The Flobots back to The White Stripes-Counting Crows, Arcade Fire-Monster Magnet, Fleet Foxes & Mumford and Sons and a little of everything in between!
