HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted and surfed all over. Joined in 2009 and spent time in the glory days of Couchsurfing hosting and surfing all over the world. Now things seem to have changed a bit, but I know how good couchsurfing can be - and I carry the vibe with me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

What I like about couch surfing is the mix of the unexpected yet familiar - you meet someone for the first time, yet it can feel like you are long lost friends. Real sharing opens the mind and exercises the heart.

Intereses

Film making & live music takes up most of my time. I produce, film and edit music videos, festivals, gigs and much more. I love where technology is going, you can carry a backpack around the world and shoot, edit and upload world class content - try explaining that to someone from the 1800s!

Live music makes me feel alive! I feel very lucky to have lived among and worked with many great New Zealand musicians - Trinity Roots, Electric Wire Hustle, Thomas Oliver, Louis Baker, Estere, Shapeshifter, Ladi 6, The Black Seeds, Alphabethead, The Nudge, Joe Blossom, Minuit, Adam Page, and would love to introduce anyone to some of New Zealand's finest.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Slept on the Great Wall of China in December as a spur of the moment decision with a couchsurfing friend that I had met that day - we ended up having no sleep, jogging on the spot/exercising every half an hour mixed with episodes of spooning each other to keep ourselves alive as it got ridiculously cold (-10C our water bottles froze overnight)
