ABOUT ME

I love learning languages, meeting new people, meeting people from different cultures, seeing new places, cities or countryside, trying new foods....this is probably quite similar to a lot of coach surfers I just realised!

But anyway I'm open-minded, easy going, I've never done coachsurfing before but am really intrigued, having heard about it from friends.

I grew up and have always lived in London except for when I had a gap year in Vietnam and studied in Durham, UK, and also now I'm currently doing a European Voluntary Service in France until July with an organisation called Unis-Cite (see http://www.uniscite.fr/). It involves doing various social projects around Lille within teams of young French volunteers eg. currently at a primary school, community centre, gardening project, and learning French.

I just finished my degree summer 2008, and after this not 100% sure (still thinking about what I will do with my life!) but hopefully something international.

I love the UK, but also want to try some more living abroad! So thinking of teaching English overseas at least for a little while...

PHILOSOPHY

Live in the present... I'm trying to live this philosophy because you'll never have the same moment again...you never know what will happen tomorrow, all you can do is make the most of today...

I'm open to most music, but really enjoying listening to Sufjan Stevens and Beirut at the moment.

I especially enjoyed American literature at uni, but not reading a lot at the mo because I have just read so much for the last 3 years at uni!

Movies...don't have a favorite but want to see Slumdog millionaire
