Current mission: live
My childhood dream was to visit "every country in the world", and to be egyptologist in Russia, but it's an other story.
I come from northern France (Calais), lived in Germany and Austria for a while and finally ended up in Serbia/Bosnia where I'm a master student in South-Eastern European studies.
Anarcho-impressionism and vice versa.
I'm curious about people, why they're here, what they're doing and how and why they came into that (it can always be inspiring).
Live music, hitchhiking, writing, disguises, going to the cinema, (analog) photography, hiking, early morning light, late afternoon one too, going back home when it's already tomorrow, drinking coffee, walking at night, dancing like if I was alone, dancing in the stairs when I'm alone, writing on the walls when I'm drunk, Port wine and tomate-mozzarella salads.
Music, Movies, and Books
klezmer, jazz, electronic, new wave, all Serge Gainsbourg, indie, fado, tango, baroque, classic ... let's say 'music with soul'.
I like to spend time on youtube, looking for improbable/forgotten stuff.
Classics, especially french Literature from the second half of the XX c. Milan Kundera, Boris Vian, Simone de Beauvoir, Sartre, Françoise Sagan..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm easily amazed by many things (some may say too easily).
Plenty of sunrises, many people and places, singing an entire night in the dark of a literally underground puppet-theater cellar with nicely insane people in Berlin, drinking coffee on a sunny morning on a balcony while listening to Jefferson Airplane, hitchhiking from Vienna to Athens, hitchhiking generally, causalities, meeting people by chance, in Berlin I bought a wedding dress for 10€. Lately I had an amazing time on the Korcula island in Croatia: the clearest water I had ever seen and so many stars at night!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you french and tell you funny stories. I used to play the bassoon.
I'd like to learn to better play the transverse flute, piano, guitar, skateboarding, to speak a slavic language (serbo-croatian/bosnian for the moment, I'd like to learn russian again as I forgot it all).
