HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just begun...here

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on many a couch, and many have slept on mine....the most extreme... was going down to mexico by land. My aunt's boyfriend said we (my companion at the time) said we should go door to door (at the border in Mexicali) and find a place to stay. We were shy, young, walking around a working class neighborhood... He went around and found a family happy to host in a few minutes. They were a sweet poor family who offered us a simple dinner. Their home was hardly furnished but they had a big TV and were watching Ghostbusters. They were extremely sweet..There was one room with 2 single waterbeds, which they wanted us to stay in. I don't recall other beds, but there probably were...anyway, we went into the room to go to bed. A couple hours into the december desert night, we were shivering on the unheated waterbeds. It was a long night. I haven't cared for waterbeds since....

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiked through Nepal for 6 weeks...30 years ago! Learned Italian. Saved a diabetic guy from a coma with some sugar.
