ABOUT ME

I'm a half English - half French, political science graduate who was, until quite recently, studying Chinese and teaching English in Shanghai. I am currently on my way back to Europe to start a master's program in business. To get there I built a carbon fibre tandem and am currently riding it across Central Asia with a friend.

Make the most of the opportunities that come your way and dont let things get to you. I feel that the best things in life are generally unexpected, so I avoid planning too far ahead and dont mind changing my plans.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im starting to get a decent amount of experience couchsurfing. Ive hosted a couple people in Montreal and Paris and a few in Shanghai now. I crossed Canada couchsurfing and then in surfed in Peru for ages while I was out there climbing.

Mountaineering, rock/ice climbing, cycling, rugby, live music, hanging out at a bar, etc. I'm more into laid back evenings, like chilling with friends over a beer, going to a good gig.

Douglas Adams Hitchiker and others, mainly been reading textbooks for uni... Otherwise films: Monty Python, Dead Man's Shoes, 99 francs, mainly indie films, not generally into big budget stuff. Music-wise im pretty open to everything and anything, not much of a fan of country and rap but even there there's stuff I enjoy. Ive been listening to the Smiths and Joy Division quite a bit recently, saw decemberists in vancouver last year. missed out on getting mgmt high through ignorance and laziness. mainly ignorance at the time. lots of regret there.

Hmmm, I could teach French or take you ice climbing perhaps. I could also probably get into a political conversation with you for far too long but thats probably not recommended.
