ABOUT ME

Greetings from Alex in sunny Adelaide in Australia!

As a kid I've become fascinated with chess, so I traveled the world playing tournaments, meeting people and making friendships.

Then I got serious, finished PhD, became a Uni lecturer, got a mortgage and raised a family.

Now that my children are grown (son 22, moved out, daughter 18, lives with me) I am back to exploring the world - either by meeting people in my own home or by traveling :)

I love the beach, reading, writing, music, tennis and games of all sorts, movies, outdoors, skiing, diving, walking, rafting... so if the road takes you to this part of the world perhaps I could show you around.
