Hello! We are the Volunteers and we will be kicking off our 2009 Summer Tour on June 16 in DC!! Check us out at www.myspace.com/thevolunteers and hear some of our stuff.. We are proud and honored to announce that we are High Times Band of the Month and we want to blaze a trail across the US of A and burn one with as many cool people as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are happy to host bands or music fans traveling through NYC at one or more of our band members' homes. Our members reside in Brooklyn and Astoria, Queens. Sadly, due to an exhausting gig and touring schedule, we have individually been unavailable to host people but we are doing our best. To make up for this fact, our hosts along our 2009 summer tour will be our guests of honor at our show, complete with a free t-shirt and CD. Most importantly, we want to meet and develop friendships with people in CS so that we can be a positive force in this great community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We first joined the CouchSurfing community on a tour to Austin, TX this year for SXSW. We had a great experience with our hosts. That's what brought us back.

Interests

Music and everything related to music. This is collectively our primary interest. However, we also dabble in other fields like furniture, screenwriting, and T shirt peddling.
