CURRENT MISSION

After 15 years working in the global car business, I decided I wanted to do something more personal, so I quit my job and am currently working on a number of writing projects.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 38 year-old, single Irishman (6' 2", red hair) who decided after 15 years in the global car business that there were things more important in life than career and money and nice cars.

I quit my job and took up writing... now I don't have a career, money or a car! Great success... but I'm one million per-cent happier!

I'm currently working on several movie screenplays, a US-based TV pilot and two projects for the BBC in London. Fingers crossed, one or more of those will get picked up and I can move to the next stage of my apprenticeship.

I have a writer's brain - a sort of magpie. Anything and everything gets locked away in little recesses of my mind for later use in a story. I therefore find just about everything interesting, especially if I find somebody who's passionate about something and wants to share it - there's nothing better than being wrapped up in somebody else's enthusiasm.

Love photography, art, museums, planetariums, big parks, soccer, driving fast, flying, day-dreaming, oh, the list just goes on and on.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I always looked at my parents and wondered why their musical tastes had frozen in the 1950s and 60s. I thought it was bizarre and vowed to never let that happen to me. Now I find myself complaining that modern music is 'just noise' and everything is 'too loud' - I'm turning into my Dad!

Movies and books are my passion. I like to think that I've got good taste and am reassured when I see high-brow lists of 'Best Ever' whatever's and find I've seen/read most of them.

If I had to pick one album, one movie and one book for a desert island, they would be -
