Fun, happy go lucky, smiling person who loves meeting new people, socialising and challenging myself with new things however scary.

I've been travelling around the world for the first time since July 2008 and have had the most amazing time experiencing new cultures and having unexpected, amazing moments with local people. Travelling is such a rich experience and is now a part of my being that I won't be able to let go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently travelling around Asia and i think CS is a great way to meet local people to understand what a country is really like. Would welcome other couchsurfers to stay with me in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been able to meet some amazing CSers while travelling across Japan for yummy food and drinks. Have had a great time with all of them

Interests

I enjoy exploring the countryside, going to the theatre and seeing movies, live music and festivals. I also enjoy good food and exploring historical sights while admiring the architecture. Also enjoy socialising, dancing my socks off and meeting new people from all walks of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to experience new music around the world and like most things: rock, indie, dance, reggae etc. Love going to the movies and reading books that make you think differently about the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering at an elephant hospital near Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Scuba diving and overcoming fear of the sea.
Standing on a active volcano crater rim in Vanuatu and watching lava being thrown over my head.
Climbing an holy mountain in China and staying with an elderly pilgrimage group in a temple - despite language barriers it was a very special local experience.
