ABOUT ME

Lis is 23 and Rob 28. We have been together for three years. We have been adventuring throughout South America for the past 9 months and now we are working and traveling Europe.

We are both easy going, considerate and good cooks. We enjoy meeting new people, socializing or being unobtrusive.

Rob enjoys new cultures, jokes, outdoor adventures, photography, architecture, music and sometimes trying to solve the worlds problems. His dream is to one day co-own ecovillages/hostels in New Zealand, Vanuatu and Australia.

Lis enjoys most things that rob enjoys but thinks he's a little crazy to want to live in three different countries at once. She also likes books, music festivals, wine and politics.

PHILOSOPHY

Meeting new people is in itself uplifting, but sharing stories, food and new places through local eyes is priceless.

Rob also likes the "You must be the change that you want to see in the world" quote by Gandhi

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything that isn't Hollywood dribble, action bullshit or sickly romantic comedies (especially maid of honor which we've were forced to watch twice on recent bus trips). We both really enjoyed Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Revolutionary Road...in fact this is pretty pointless because we like lots of films.

Music: our music collection is over 100gb so there is pretty much something for everyone, we really enjoy good live music and both wish that we could play the guitar.

Books: Lis loves reading and especially likes political fiction and Isabel Allende. Rob really likes non-fiction. We both just read and loved "life of pi".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in the amazon jungle in Peru; seeing a live puma in Bolivia; trekking in the Patagonian wilderness and lazing on deserted Carribean beaches.

Teach, Learn, Share

Rob's a landscape architect but hates when people ask "what should i do with my garden?", but loves to share travel stories/advice and is a bit of a problem solver/handyman. He's happy to chat and share knowledge about ecodesign and pretty much anything he knows a bit about.

Lis loves to cook and is happy to cook or teach... She's happy to give really bad legal advice and can teach you how to salsa.
