About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to travel and meet my friends

ABOUT ME

I'm a fifth year student from Helsinki University of Technology(former Aalto University) looking for new possibilities and perspectives and also new experiences.
few descriptive adjectives(: (great words in general and I put them in alphabetical order!)

blonde, calm, ethical, existential, fallible, hetero, humane, hypothetical, idealistic, individual, ironical, open, realistic, pragmatic, tall, tarzanical..
We finns are usually blonde and calm.
We also have a weird sense of humour(at least I have:)

PHILOSOPHY

well here isn´t probably enough space/time/reason to explain it all but if I put this really quick and rough, it sounds like this:life(the only absolute value we have) is really amazing if we just get it right and I think pluralism is true. Maybe the key in life is to find the right tools and methods to open life to its full potential(to reach the destination/purpose whatever it is)...and no, don't take it too seriously because I also like nonsense;) actually this was a really hard question:O

Music, Movies, and Books

I would call myself as a heavyprogerock guy, but I also like softer sounds...(some examples:Opeth, TOOL, Porcupine Tree, Riverside, Jimi Hendrix, Kingston Wall, Lamb of God, Metallica, Muse, Dredg, The Dear Hunter, The Rolling Stones, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Jean Sibelius, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Fredrich Chopin, Emperor) music is great but it's not my religion!(like for some people!;)

(it seems that I like action/thrillers, science fiction and horror) Weird movies are also good..but I don't like David Lynch, however, Mulholland drive is pretty interesting, but still too complex...Twin peaks is great, on the other hand(:
Few all time favorites!
The Matrix, City of god, American history X, The Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Kill bill 1 & 2, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Psycho, The Silence of the Lambs, Alien, Memento, Starwars(E4-6), Pulp fiction, Lotr, Godfather, Vertigo...

I read a little, usually I prefere reality or reality/fiction mixes but I also like fantasy..(some examples(not in particular order)
Reality : Ishmael: An Adventure of the Mind and Spirit, Anita Roddick: Body and Soul, Cityboy:Beer and loathing in the square mile
Fiction: Sinuhe the Egyptian, Da Vinci Code, Lotr, The unknown soldier, The Alchemist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

visiting in New York shortly after WTC-strike. Amazing city for such a young boy I was then. By the way. Did you know that 9/11 wasn´t organized by Al-Qaida (US foreign politics is pretty much bullshit, but necessary from their point of view though...) Sometimes it feels that this world is really cruel place to live but we just have to deal with it,and that's why we need "the force"(=understanding, patience and love):)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basics of Finnish, engineering, philosophy, economics, psychology, history etc...Usually I know only the basics of something, but I think that's enough(for me)...I also think that education programs sometimes suck so it's important to check other fields of study(or ways to study) out as well...

I´d like to learn playing drums, though I think I kind of suck with rhythms and all..

New interesting information is always welcomed!
